Employees in 8Q at Good Samaritan have received a Spirit of Compassion donation from a patient who appreciated the care he received.

Sandy Bacher RN, Eileen Mosher PT, Debbie Mauntel of Environmental Services, Rachel Schroff PCA and Helen "Pud" Bolte RN were recognized.

The Spirit of Compassion program allows a patient or his or her family to make a donation in honor of a Good Samaritan physician, nurse or staff member who made a difference during their stay, and also share a brief note of thanks.

The patient commented that these team members were "very attentive and caring. I was well pleased with her talent - very professional, kind and very helpful, had a great attitude." The patient also said he was met every morning by Debbie who asked, "Can I bring you a fresh cup of coffee or help you with anything?"
