Bob Roncker's Running Spot and TriHealth have teamed up to offer a summer "Sit To Fit" eight-week exercise program for Greater Cincinnati. If you've ever felt motivated to begin a walking or running exercise program and lost interest, this is a training program for you. Join other beginners, joggers and walkers, and discover the benefits of getting fit. The program offers an enjoyable way to train and participate in the Sunflower Fitness Festival 5K run/walk, Sept. 8 at Washingon Park in Over the Rhine.
The summer groups will meet Mondays and Thursdays for eight weeks beginning July 15 at 6:30 p.m. (The Anderson location will have a morning training option.) To find a group location near you, visit RunningSpot.com.
The training groups are limited to 50 participants per site. The $50 cost includes a technical shirt, technical socks, coupons, training information and motivational tips, a like-minded group to associate with and an award celebration evening.
