Don't miss longtime Good Morning America host Joan Lunden as she shares her battle with breast cancer and advice for a more healthful, happy life.

An award-winning journalist, bestselling author and motivational speaker, Lunden will serve as the guest speaker for the annual Bethesda LYCEUM Speaker Series, hosted by the Bethesda Foundation. This year's event will take place at 6 p.m. April 29 at the Horseshoe Casino.

Lunden, host of GMA for more than two decades, has provided insight on top issues for millions of Americans. Most recently, she shared her own fight with breast cancer.

With a keen interest in family, health and wellness, coupled with a passion and trusted brand, dedicated to helping families live better, Lunden has been a reassuring and informative presence in American homes for more than 30 years.

Proceeds from this year's event will help develop a comprehensive women's cancer program at Bethesda North. The program is an innovative and necessary way to focus on treatment of women with cancer.
