Help celebrate the more than 44-year career of Glenna Pouliotte RN at a retirement party from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center for Breast Care in the Panel Conference Room on the second floor.

Glenna, who has worked at the breast center since 2001, will retire officially on her 65th birthday, Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Glenna graduated from the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in 1970 and started working for Bethesda Inc. two days later. She spent her early years at Bethesda Oak, but worked at Bethesda North as a nurse for most of her career.

"She is and always has always been a truly wonderful nurse," says longtime co-worker Tina German RN, CBPN-IC. "She will be truly missed."

Glenna has a husband, Joe, two daughters and five grandchildren.
