Mt St Joe Leadership Awards

Five TriHealth nurses were honored by Mount St. Joseph College at their annual Leadership in Nursing Awards event at the Drees Pavilion in Devou Park in Covington, Kentucky on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The Leadership in Nursing Awards Program was developed to promote positive collegial regard for distinguished nursing leaders and to recognize their contributions in nursing and healthcare in the tri-state area. Proceeds from this program are used to provide scholarships to senior nursing students who have demonstrated leadership, academic achievement and service during their college experience.

  • Lifetime Achievement in Nursing Award: Mary Irvin, RN, MSN, MBA, NEA-BC, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive
  • Distinguished Alumni Nurse Leader Award: Kathleen Lebowitz, MSN, RN, CEN, nurse manager of the Bethesda Butler Hospital Emergency Department
  • Distinguished Nurse Administrator Award: Earl Dalton, MHA, MSL, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, Medical-Surgical Director at Bethesda North Hospital
  • Distinguished Nurse Educator Award: Teresa Gethy-Eby, Ph.D., RN, nursing professor and the Department Chair/Program Director of Good Samaritan College's (GSC) BSN Program
  • MSN Scholarship Recipient: Donita Ross BSN, RN, CGRN, NE-BC, nurse manager of the 5T3 unit at Bethesda North Hospital
