Donna Bacon and Jacqueline Hale, nurses at Good Samaritan, have received a Spirit of Compassion donation from a patient who appreciated his care.

"The Good Sam staff was excellent during my stay," the patient wrote in a note. "Everyone from the Doctors to housekeeping. A special thanks to Donna Bacon who has that wonderful combination of skill and humor. Many thanks to all!"

The Spirit of Compassion program allows a patient or his or her family to make a donation in honor of a physician, nurse or staff member who made a difference during their stay, and also share a brief note of thanks.
