TriHealth Bridge

July 31, 2014

Rubber-Duck-250xAdopt rubber ducks for a good cause and you'll receive your choice of a free T-shirt or rubber duck!

TriHealth will participate in the annual Freestore Foodbank Rubber Duck Regatta, which will take place about 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, the day of the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN fireworks. That's when as many as 200,000 rubber ducks will drop from the Purple People Bridge into the Ohio River for a duck race. In the end, one lucky supporter will win a 2014 Honda Accord Sport.

All dollars raised from duck adoptions go directly to providing meals for hungry children in our community. Each year, the event takes in about $800,000 for the Freestore Foodbank.

Adopt Five Ducks, Get Free Stuff

For each set of five ducks adopted for $5 each, team members will receive one free duck entered in the race for a total of six ducks, plus their choice of a free Rubber Duck Regatta T-shirt - while supplies last - or small rubber duck to keep. (Employees who adopt more than one set of five ducks get more than one T-shirt or duck, so $50-worth of ducks equals 12 entries in the race, plus two choices of free items.)
