The deadline to apply for a grant from the Mary Ann McGrath Nursing Education Endowment Fund, through the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, has been extended to Friday, Oct. 31.

The fund, named for a former Good Samaritan nurse, awards grants in June and December to Good Samaritan nurses to advance nursing knowledge by helping to pay for a seminar, college textbooks, tuition or educational experience.
