Staff Nurse Kimiki Conners RN (right), of Good Samaritan Emergency Department, turns over care of an expectant mother to staff nurse Sarah Evans RN, of Good Samaritan Labor and Delivery. The ED is equipped for L&D nurses to establish fetal monitoring in select cases of women who are pregnant, and to connect with OB’s electronic medical record system, OBIX.
Coordinated care is one of the hallmarks of TriHealth's service to our community. The ED/OB/NICU Quality Committee meets regularly to discuss how best to serve pregnant women and their babies. Read this story and more in the October issue of Nursing Connections.
