TriHealth Bridge

June 03, 2014

Good Samaritan will open its new TriHealth Cancer Institute location Monday, June 9, giving patients convenient and complete access to everything they need for their treatment in a comforting environment.

The Cancer Institute, located on the fourth floor of the hospital, adjacent to the conference center, provides patients access to their physicians, infusion and radiation treatment, an onsite laboratory and pharmacy and other services, including genetic counseling and help from social workers and care navigators.

Because infusion treatments often take four to five hours, special attention was given to the design of the infusion bays, which offer individual lighting, TV, heating and air conditioning, charging ports, WIFI, space for belongings and - most importantly - room for family and friends.

To allow patients quick access to services, parking has been dedicated to the Cancer Institute with direct entry to the facility so patients do not have to navigate the hospital.

The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation has provided funding for the facility through the generous support of donors.

Preview the New Facility

Good Samaritan and other TriHealth team members are invited to tour the facility from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 5. Light refreshments will be available. Take a tour and show your badge to be entered into a contest for two tickets to Beyoncé and Jay Z's "On the Run Tour" on June 28 at Great American Ball Park.
