Brein Pyfrin, of the Security Department at Bethesda North, has been named the No. 1 Team Member for May by the Bethesda Firestarters. 

Brein's co-workers have said she:

• Consistently demonstrates acts of kindness to customers;
• Always exhibits professionalism and compassion; and
• Goes the extra distance to help customers, visitors and staff.

Brein recently demonstrated these qualities when she paid for breakfast for a couple who was at the hospital to visit a patient. They forgot to bring money to the cafeteria, and Brein happened to overhear the conversation with the cashier. Brein stepped and paid for their breakfast on the spot.

Brein will receive a cash prize, a special parking spot for the month, refreshments for her department and a special No. 1 Team Member certificate.  She will also have her picture placed on the wall outside the cafeteria.
