The TriHealth Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Michael S. McGraw has been elected Chairman of the Board and Wayne J. Shircliff has been elected Vice Chair and Treasurer.  Mr. McGraw has been a member of the board since 2009 and Mr. Shircliff since 2012.  Prior to being named Chairman, Mr. McGraw served as the Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Board.

Mr. McGraw succeeds Robert L. Walker, who served as Chairman since March 2011. The board expressed its appreciation to Mr. Walker for his dedicated service.

McGraw is the President and CEO at the R.G. McGraw Insurance Agency in Cincinnati. His responsibilities include overseeing management of the agency, client relations, and new business development. Prior to his time at R.G. McGraw Insurance, he was in commercial lending for Fifth Third Bank.

"Michael's leadership, combined with R.G. McGraw Insurance's commitment to Cincinnati, are significant assets to TriHealth in this time of great change and challenge with health care reform," said John S. Prout, TriHealth president and chief executive officer.

In addition to serving on the TriHealth Board, he serves on the boards of Quest for Vision, Louise Taft Semple Foundation, S.C. Ministry Foundation, and Queen City Club.

Mr. McGraw lives in Indian Hill. He has an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt and a graduate degree from Xavier University.

Mr. Shircliff retired from U.S. Bank in 2007 after a 36-year career in banking. He was Executive Vice President and Regional Chairman with responsibility for Commercial banking in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.

In addition to serving on the TriHealth Board, he also serves on the boards of U.S. Bank Cincinnati Advisory Board and TPC at River's Bend.

Mr. Shircliff grew up in Indianapolis and attended Indiana University on a golf scholarship. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in finance, he obtained his MBA from the University of Cincinnati and also graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.

The TriHealth Board of Trustees is comprised of representatives from TriHealth co-sponsors, Bethesda Inc. and Catholic Health Initiatives, community representatives, physician leaders, and senior leaders. The Board of Trustees governs all TriHealth, Bethesda, and Good Samaritan providers, including Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospitals, and all other providers and businesses in the TriHealth system.
