Bethesda North has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review Magazine’s list of “100 Great Hospitals.”
“These organizations continually improve upon themselves and are innovators for medical treatments, research, technology and care delivery,” the magazine said. “These hospitals are home to medical breakthroughs and act as anchors of health within their respective communities.”

Bethesda North is in great company: Others on the list include Baylor University Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Mayo Clinic, among others. The complete list of honorees can be found here.

To develop its list, the Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team accepted nominations, conducted research and considered other reputable hospital ranking sources such as U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics’ 100 Top Hospitals, HealthGrades, Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the Studer Group and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipients.
