Bethesda Butler Sleep Center recently underwent review by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and received a full five-year re-accreditation without provisos or requirement of site visit.
An AASM review and award of accreditation is the gold standard by which the medical community and the public can evaluate sleep-medicine services.
An AASM accredited sleep center reflects a commitment to ensure that sleep disorder patients receive the highest quality of care, specializing in studying, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of sleep and daytime alertness such as insomnia, narcolepsy and sleep-related breathing disorders. There are only about 1,500 AASM accredited sleep centers in the U.S.
All TriHealth sleep centers - Bethesda North Sleep Center, Bethesda Montgomery Sleep Center and Good Samaritan Sleep Center - are AASM accredited.
