Ben Naylor, a Project SEARCH intern, has joined Volunteer Services as a customer service representative at Good Samaritan, bringing months of work experience from Cincinnati Children's.
He will report to Lisa Bryan, supervisor of Volunteer Services, and work mainly in the Dixmyth Lobby.
Project SEARCH, which originated at Cincinnati Children's, fully immerses participants in the workplace and provides a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration and hands-on training through worksite rotations.
A graduate of Deer Park High School, Ben has been a part of Project SEARCH since August. He has worked as an intern at Cincinnati Children's as a mail courier, customer service representative in Guest Services and inventory technician in the Center of Professional Excellence.
Ben's long-term goal is to work full-time as a customer service representative. He said he enjoys interacting with people.
"The highlight of my first day (at TriHealth), I would say, was when Mr. Jamie Easterling came down to take a picture with me."
In high school, Ben was the vice president of his choir group and he has played the piano for nine years.
