Medical Grand Rounds for November will address substance abuse, specifically heroin use, which has increased dramatically in the past few years.
Attend "Heroin: A Growing Epidemic" from 8 to 10 a.m. Nov. 5 in the Good Samaritan Conference Center on the fourth floor. The program will include presentations from several area health care professionals and a panel discussion.
Objectives
- Describe the current issues related to heroin and opiate abuse in Greater Cincinnati.
- Review issues related to OARRs reporting in Ohio.
- Describe TriHealth programs available to substance abusers.
