Amanda O’ Brien RN, was chosen No. 1 Team Member by the Good Samaritan Firestarters for the month of September.

Amanda is an integral part of Good Samaritan's 15AB unit. She is highly involved in the unit on committees and goes above and beyond as the representative for the unit's Journal Club, Professional Excellence Pride 16, and a member of Shared Leadership.

When caring for patients, Amanda cares for the whole person and family. She spends all her time at the bedside making sure her patient's every need is met.

Amanda received recognition from patients stating that she is truly appreciated with the very special care she provided, and that she responds in such a positive way that far exceeds what anyone could have expected.

She is a gift to her profession and truly a guardian angel.
