This January, TriHealth Women's Services is officially launching a Menopause Care service line, with 7 Nationally-credited, Menopause Society Certified providers, to provide consultation on subjects such as perimenopause symptoms, breast/high risk cancers, bone health, hormone replacement, sexual wellness, nutrition and exercise strategies, emotional concerns alongside a patient's primary care provider and gynecologist.
Led by Dr. Elizabeth LeRoy and Dr. Regina Whitfield Kekessi, and with the aid of the new Women's Services Nurse Navigator, and a dedicated webpage to Menopause Care, TriHealth Women's Services continues to be the leader in the region in Women's Health with this first in the region service for menopause care.
This service can be accessed with an AMB referral. Consults are 30 minutes with follow-up visits as needed. Services range from basic hormone therapy plans to collaboration regarding advanced medical histories in the menopausal timeframe (cancer, CV/DM risks, obesity).
