Rodney Curran entered the Emergency Department at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital with chest pains. Now as a heart attack survivor, Rodney credits McCullough-Hyde’s Emergency Department team with saving his life.

“From the moment that I walked into the Emergency Room and said I needed help, God and the staff took over checking everything within a matter of a few minutes. From the time that I was placed into a bed at McCullough-Hyde, until I was boarded onto the helicopter, everyone there was by my side for my safety and conform. There was no dissension in the ranks that day in the Emergency Room as they all seemed to work together and at the same level.”

Saying thank you is a meaningful way to make a great impact. The McCullough-Hyde Foundation’s Grateful Patient Connections program gives patients and families the opportunity to recognize a caregiver or team member who made a difference in your care or the care of a family member with a donation in their honor and/or a special note of thanks. Donations made through Grateful Patient Connections support the mission of the McCullough-Hyde Foundation through the purchase of specialized equipment for McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
