The McCullough-Hyde Foundation received the Innovation Award during the Union County EPIC Awards Night. The EPIC (Extraordinary People Inspiring Community) awards are hosted by the Union County Foundation and Union County HYPE.
The Innovation Award acknowledges novel work or services benefiting the community, encompassing impactful partnerships, projects, approaches, and inventive solutions. This recognition highlights the McCullough-Hyde Foundation's impact thought the Community Granting Program in Union County, Indiana.
The McCullough-Hyde Foundation’s commitment to Union County is a testament to its dedication to improving community health. Through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives like the Community Granting Program, the Foundation has made significant strides in addressing critical health needs and fostering a healthier, more resilient Union County.
The Community Granting Program, launched in 2023, has awarded nearly half a million dollars to various community organizations, focusing on education, prevention, wellness, and direct care. The program's funding priorities align with McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/TriHealth’s Community Health Needs Assessment, ensuring that resources are directed towards the most pressing health challenges in Butler, Franklin, Preble, and Union counties.
