On Thursday, October 3, 2024, a dedication was held to honor the new Michael S. Baggish, MD Learning Center at Good Samaritan Hospital on 9FG.

Michael S. Baggish, MD, was a pioneer in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pathology, and Anatomy. As OBGYN Department Chair at Good Samaritan Hospital from 1993-2010, his passion for teaching and developing the next generation of providers was apparent daily.

In memory of his contributions to teaching, this center provides multidisciplinary Obstetrics and Gynecology simulations to enhance the care provided by future generations of physicians as well as team members.

Following Dr. Baggish’s vision, Good Sam strives to offer residents the highest quality education that is equal parts challenging and beneficial for their future endeavors as practitioners. With this new learning center, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency can further provide the most advanced simulator for our residents in training.

To contribute toward carrying on the legacy of Dr. Baggish while equally benefitting the future physicians in our Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident program, visit gshfoundation.com/baggish.
