Good Samaritan Foundation hosted the Forever Forward Celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the site of the new West Tower alongside the Forever Forward Committee, TriHealth and Good Samaritan Hospital leadership, Foundation supporters, Turner Construction, and team members.
The Forever Forward Celebration commemorated all who have made the Foundation’s $30 million commitment to the Good Samaritan Hospital Master Facility Plan a success. The program included remarks from Kelvin Hanger, Good Samaritan Hospital President and COO, Sister Sally Duffy, Forever Forward Committee and TriHealth Board Member, Mark Clement, TriHealth President and CEO, and Marla Silliman, Senior Vice President Good Samaritan Region. There was also an opportunity to make a mark on the new West Tower by signing a beam set to lay at the foundation of the site.
The Forever Forward journey began with a bold vision in the fall of 2019 with a vision for transformation on Good Samaritan’s Clifton campus. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic introduced significant challenges and delays. Yet, through it all, the resilience and dedication of the Forever Forward Committee kept this vision alive. Their unwavering commitment reflects Good Sam’s core belief in compassionate care. The celebration showcased the Foundation’s gratitude for the committee members and their consistent time and effort toward the initiative.
The Forever Forward Committee included Kip Heekin (Chair), Phyllis Adams, Chip Crowther, Sr. Sally Duffy, Kelvin Hanger, Rich & Renita Homan, Dr. George Kerlakian, Dan Neyer, John Prout, Mary Rafferty, Marla Silliman, and Mark Witte.
