The Bethesda Auxiliary together with Bethesda Hospital leadership regularly honor a team member or department for outstanding service. The honor for November 2024 goes to Bethesda Arrow Springs Protective Services Officer Donald Gillis for the “spiritual grounding and always behaviors he demonstrators in his work at Arrow Springs.”

In presenting the Aux Award, Arrow Springs Site Manager Madeleine Secrist called Don a “foundational rock for everyone at Arrow Springs.” She went on to list the words that Don’s team members used to describe him: caring, present, dependable, supportive, honorable, regal, selfless, fantastic, and loving.

Congratulations Don!
