Physician and Team Member Honor and Memorial Walls Recognize Individuals Who Have Impacted Good Samaritan

In the fall of 2022, a Physician Honor & Memorial Wall was installed in the Medical Education Department on the third floor at Good Samaritan Hospital. A year later, a new Team Member Honor & Memorial Wall was positioned in the Good Samaritan Hospital cafeteria on the fifth floor.

Many of us have known a physician or team member who has positively impacted our lives. With a gift of $500, a plaque can be added to the Physician or Team Member Honor & Memorial Wall recognizing a Good Sam physician, team member, or volunteer.

Since their inceptions, 15 plaques of current and past physicians have been included on the Physician Wall, and seven plaques of current and past team members have been included on the Team Member Wall. The tribute walls provide a unique opportunity for team members, departments, families, patients, or friends of GSH individuals to honor them visually on Good Sam’s campus.

To honor or recognize a physician or team member, purchase a plaque at gshfoundation.com/donate and in the “Share Your Experience” box, make note that it’s for the Physician or Team Member Wall and a foundation team member will reach out for additional information. Another way to purchase a plaque is to fill out the brochure found beside each wall and return it to the Good Samaritan Foundation office on the fourth floor.

Recently we honored the enduring impact of Dr. Rae Hartman, a trailblazing Family Medicine Physician at Good Samaritan Hospital. Founded in 1986, Good Samaritan Foundation is the philanthropic vehicle for Good Samaritan Hospital to improve the health of the Greater Cincinnati community.
