Good Sam’s NICU was recently honored with four individual gifts through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patients and Families Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and the TriHealth Way.

Along with a gift, one grateful patient Wanchen Li wrote, “My son was born at 27 +2 six years ago, we stayed here until getting transferred. He is doing great now, thanks to everybody's caring and help, from the nurses, doctors, insurance social workers, coordinators and so many people. I will always be grateful.”

Another grateful patient Tasha Harris wrote, “The nurses have forever changed our lives by helping take care of our beautiful children when we couldn’t. We will be forever grateful for your services!”

Additionally, grateful patient Martha Claypool Stricker wrote, “Our son Levi was born prematurely and spent 10 days in the NICU. While everyone was a huge help, we feel the below folks went above and beyond.”

Grateful family member Kimberly Evans wrote, “Please accept this donation in honor of our granddaughter Gracelyn Jean Taylor – NICU grad 2022. Thank you for taking such good care of Gracelyn.”

Along with a gift, grateful patient and GSH team member Sarah Lockwood wrote, “It is not every day you are on the ‘other side of the patient bed.’ I am a nurse in the GSH Surgicare Department, and I usually give the care. On 12/29, I was the patient, and although I am not surprised how amazing my team was, it was a wonderful experience.”
