Good Sam’s Dr. Heather Barhorst and Kara Davis were recently honored through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patients and Families Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and the TriHealth Way.

Along with a gift, the Grateful Patient wrote, “We were extremely concerned about being over 41 weeks. Our prior two deliveries were traumatic. We didn’t feel ‘listened to.’ Dr. Barhorst and nurse Kara were patient, informative, and reasonable. We had the delivery successfully and didn’t feel rushed. They were very supportive and genuinely caring.”

The Grateful Patients and Families Program allows a patient or their family to donate in honor of a physician, nurse, or team member who made a difference and share a note of thanks.
