This Thanksgiving team members from Bethesda North Hospital, the Thomas Comprehensive Care Center, the Kenwood Infusion Center, and the TriHealth Pavilion provided Thanksgiving meals to area families served by Operation Give Back.
Team Members donated funds for turkeys and provided all the items needed for Thanksgiving meals for 72 families (400 individuals).
The weekend before Thanksgiving, team members packed and then distributed boxes of ingredients along with a turkey to each family.
Operation Give Back assists families in the Sycamore School District with food and tutoring. This is the 4th year that the Bethesda Auxiliary has sponsored the Thanksgiving Meal collection. In the past, the Auxiliary through its Community Engagement Committee has also supported Operation Give Back with Back to School, Christmas, and Summer Stock the Pantry collections.
