Good Sam neuroscience nurses on 7 and 12 were recently honored through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patients and Families Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and the TriHealth Way.
Grateful patient Linda honored the GSH Neuro teams by establishing a fund through Good Samaritan Foundation. The fund is intended to promote excellence in neurological nursing by supporting two nurses per year to attend a national conference. The teams were surprised by a visit with GSH leadership, Foundation team members, and the donor, Linda, which allowed her to tell the exciting news to the team members firsthand.
Linda, a previous GSH team member, is incredibly thankful for the care she received from these teams on 7 and 12 nearly a year ago. She claims they gave her life back to her.

The Grateful Patients and Families Program allows a patient or their family to donate in honor of a physician, nurse, or team member who made a difference and share a note of thanks.
Donations provide support for projects and services in the Good Samaritan Region.
