Good Sam’s Dr. Angel Mena was honored through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patient Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and TriHealth Way. 

 

Along with a gift, Grateful Patient John Ploehs wrote a letter to Good Samaritan Foundation in gratitude for Dr. Mena’s care of his brother Jim. In his letter he shared, “You and your team were open and honest in your assessment of Jim’s condition,” and he mentioned how Jim is doing well at home. Additionally, John added, “I trust that you can take some satisfaction and pleasure in knowing that you and your team of various doctors are using all your intelligence, experience, care, and kindness to make people well.”

 

Grateful Patient John asked that Dr. Mena share his letter with his team. This award goes to the team of Internal Medicine residents who day after day advance TH’s mission and vision by providing great care for our patients.
