At a recent Good Samaritan Safety Huddle, the 14CD Oncology team was presented with the September Guild Award for their amazing work within the hospital as well as outside of it. They have volunteered at Oktoberfest and Light the Night Walk, raising thousands of dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They work tirelessly to share experiences with their patients, like coordinating honor walks, patient pet visits, and ringing a bell to recognize those who have had their last chemo treatment. This team has a huge impact on Good Sam patients and have an amazing ability to help navigate the patient and their families through a challenging diagnosis. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Each team member in the department received a $10 gift card valid at Nurture Gift Shop and Nourish Coffee Shop in celebration of their hard work.
Each month, the Good Samaritan Hospital Guild honors a Good Samaritan team or department. The Guild is associated with Good Samaritan Foundation and funds special projects and programs at the hospital to benefit patients, visitors, and all who work at Good Sam.
Congratulations to the 14CD Oncology team!
