In mid-November, TriHealth celebrated its 1,000th TAVR procedure (transcatheter aortic valve replacement). This minimally invasive procedure may be an option for patients with aortic stenosis who opt out of traditional open-heart surgery or are not surgical candidates.
The procedure involves collaboration among several TriHealth teams including TriHealth Heart & Vascular interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and nurse navigators, as well as TriHealth Cardiac Cath Lab and OR team members.
TriHealth continues to lead the way in cardiovascular care and procedures.
Thank you to the Echo Techs (who are not recognized here) as well.
They play a big role in the success of this program.

Thanks to all of you, my 79 yo cousin is doing well after receiving the TAVR back in April of this year. Everyone was great and patient with her, as she was very scared.
