March 21, 2023
In honor of Women’s History Month, TriHealth Resource Initiative for Black Employees (TRIBE) is hosting a donation drive from March 15 – 30, 2023 to support the Esther Marie Hatton Center for Women located in Cincinnati.
The Hatton Foundation was created in 1997 upon the death of Dr. E. Kenneth Hatton and his wife, Esther Marie. The Foundation’s mission is to continue to foster and promote the ideals and vision of Dr. Hatton, a Bond Hill general practitioner, and his wife. Additionally, Dr. Hatton donated a large philanthropic gift to further support the mission of Good Samaritan Hospital and its dedication to excellence in education and research, establishing the E. Kenneth Hatton MD Institute for Research and Education. The Esther Marie Hatton Center for Women ensures homeless women in Cincinnati have access to basic human needs such as shelter, food, emergency clothing items, basic toiletries, and safety. The center includes beds for 60 homeless women, serving three daily meals, case management support services, with the goal of transitioning into permanent housing.
