We hope everyone had a great time celebrating SOAR Week, June 5-9! The week was focused on reconnecting to the values and tools that represent the TriHealth Way through fun, actionable activities and contests throughout the week. Team members who completed the SOAR Week Activity each day were entered to win prizes.
The purpose of SOAR (Serving Others, Achieving Results) Week is to re-engage, re-invigorate, and re-educate our entire system. This will help to ensure our team members, physicians and leaders are comfortable with and educated on TriHealth’s key tactics and programs including AIDET + the Promise, SERVE, HEARD, Living Our Values, Always Behaviors, Appreciation Station, the Ambassador Program and many others. It is essential that our team members, physicians and leaders are feeling seen, heard and valued here at TriHealth.
Donna and Randy in addition to lots of other TriHealth leaders traveled around to various TriHealth locations with SOAR swag and observed great examples of the TriHealth Way in action.

Monday, June 5 – TriHealth Way of Leading, Serving & Delivering Care
Submit a photo of you and/or your team and tell us how you support the TriHealth Way of Leading, Serving & Delivering Care by Wednesday, June 7 at 5pm to be entered to win. The winning team receives a pizza party sponsored by SOAR. A $25 LaRosa’s gift card will be awarded to the winning remote worker and individual.

We as a team do daily rounds with all our disciplines involved. We try to make it fun for the patients and we have been known to sing Christmas carols with our patients on request of course. We have dressed up in all kinds of outfits and made our way through the unit. I believe through teamwork and leadership we have involved our patients and their family in decision making involving their care while providing a smile and some laughter with our outfits along the way. Our sts numbers along with our patient satisfaction numbers have shown our level of amazing care we have provided and continue to provide to our patients. The population we serve is extremely critically ill and by providing the highest level of care and compassion as the team in the CVICU does, we will continue to see improvement in patients’ outcomes and satisfaction. I'm glad to help my team mates by helping patients to the commode during therapy sessions, ensuring patients have everything they need before the leave them after their therapy sessions and strictly follow the do not pass role to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

I am there for my patients and their families through one of the most difficult times in life. I am that ear. I am that friend. I am that caregiver. I strive to be the best nurse I can be for my patients and my families. I treat my patients as if it was my family member. A hug goes a long way, a smile brightens a day. I am blessed that God has given me this journey to go down.

Round two: 10:00-10:30pm, hosted by SOAR Chairs Diana Vollman & Patrick Wright
The 1st place winner from each round receives a $150 gift card, plus 2nd and 3rd place will also win prizes.
