The Bethesda Auxiliary and Bethesda leadership regularly honor a Bethesda team or department for outstanding service. For June 2023, the honor of the AUX Award went to the Bethesda North Cath Lab. This team was chosen in recognition of their ability to provide exceptional and improved care during lengthy construction transitions and phasing - with high volume and complex cases. The leadership team has been very collaborative with physicians, their teams, and inpatient leaders to facilitate smooth operations - all while continuing to accept off-hour STEMI transfers across our region while achieving low door to balloon times and excellent outcomes! Congratulations on this fantastic work to our Cath Lab, EP, and Specials teams.

The AUX Award is presented by the Bethesda Auxiliary - a part of the Bethesda Foundation, and Bethesda leadership to a Bethesda team or department honoring them for their outstanding service. As part of winning this monthly AUX Award, the Bethesda team or department is honored by the Bethesda Auxiliary and are presented with the “OX” trophy for the month, along with treats and goodies.
