Congratulations to Nurse Manager Tina Corson and her entire 5300 Medical Surgical team for being the most recent winners of Bethesda Auxiliary's “AUX Award” on the Bethesda campus! This team has been instrumental in our journey to reducing harm - with sustaining greater than 200 days without a patient fall with harm, in addition to recruiting and hiring over 30 international nurses, all while maintaining top decile performance in HCAHPS scores. Thank you to the team for their unwavering hard work and dedication on advancing our journey to mastery!

The AUX Award is presented by the Bethesda Auxiliary - a part of the Bethesda Foundation, and Bethesda leadership to a Bethesda team or department honoring them for their outstanding service. As part of winning this monthly AUX Award, the Bethesda team or department is honored by the Bethesda Auxiliary and are presented with the “OX” trophy for the month, along with treats and goodies.
