Recently, Good Samaritan Hospital NICU team members were honored through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patient Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and TriHealth Way. Not one, but three different grateful patients all honored the NICU with intentional gifts of appreciation.

Along with the gifts, the donors wrote these words of thanks:
“I was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital AOC and was on bed rest for seven weeks before delivering my son. Everyone took such great care of us. He was born premature at 35 weeks gestation and he had to stay in the NICU for 9 days. Everyone was awesome!” – Henry and Katelyn Rossi, Grateful Patients

“My grandson was born a week ago and due to some breathing issues, he spent a few days in the NICU. The help, encouragement, and attention my daughter, her husband, and the baby were given was so appreciated. Thankfully, the baby is doing well, and my daughter is very grateful.” – Michael and Karen Williams, Grateful Patients

“Our grandson, Walker Wellman, was a patient in your unit. He was born 9 weeks premature and now he is a healthy wonderful baby. Thank you to everyone.” – The Bandoroff Family, Grateful Patients

The Grateful Patients and Families Program allows a patient or their family to make a donation in honor of a physician, nurse, or team member who made a difference and share a note of thanks. Donations provide support for projects and services in the Good Samaritan Region.
