The Good Samaritan Hospital Guild is associated with Good Samaritan Foundation. Guild members are not required to do volunteer work for the hospital, but are invited to take part in membership dinners, educational programs, entertaining presentations, and service projects. Special projects and programs funded by the Guild benefit patients, visitors and all who work in the hospital. This unified group enjoys working hard and, more importantly, working together.

At a recent Good Samaritan Safety Huddle, the 12ABD and Neuroscience ICU team was presented with the July Guild Award for their continued growth with the expansion of 12. They have leaned in with all their new team members while filling all open positions. Their work with Life Center, Honor Walks, and the stroke program are just a few initiatives they have been instrumental in. They recently had a seamless transition when their ANM stepped down and promoted a new one. They have also strengthened their relationship with MSICU to close that gap. Their knowledge is a great resource for the community.

Each team member in the department received a $10 gift card valid at Nurture Gift Shop and Nourish Coffee Shop in celebration of their hard work.

Each month, the Good Samaritan Hospital Guild honors a Good Samaritan team or department. The Guild is associated with Good Samaritan Foundation and funds special projects and programs at the hospital to benefit patients, visitors, and all who work at Good Sam.

Congratulations to the 12ABD and Neuroscience ICU team!
