At the Good Samaritan Safety Huddle, the Patient Access staff were presented with the March Guild Award for their excellent customer service. Registration is the first impression of the health system. Patient Access provides excellent customer service, caring for patients by ensuring that their demographics are correct. They are important in the revenue cycle wheel, contributing to the financial bottom line of the organization. The South Region Patient Access Team collected $2,078,500.40 and helped 448,080 patients. Also, two of the Patient Access leaders are the chair and co-chair of the Good Samaritan Hospital Fun Committee.
Each team member in the department received a $10 gift card valid at Nurture Gift Shop and Nourish Coffee Shop in celebration of their hard work.
Each month, a Good Samaritan team or department is honored by the Good Samaritan Hospital Guild. The Guild is associated with Good Samaritan Foundation and funds special projects and programs at the hospital to benefit patients, visitors, and all who work at Good Sam.
Congratulations to the Patient Access staff!
