Bethesda North patients and supporters Pat Patton and Julia Miller recently established the $10,000 Grace M Patton and Gloria J Haveman Nursing Scholarship. Moved by the heroic efforts of healthcare workers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and inspired by the incredible care they have received from nurses over the years, they wanted to make an impact in the field of nursing. Named in honor of their mothers, the purpose of the scholarship is to be an incentive to beginning or completing an educational career path in nursing.
Award
The recipient will be awarded one (1) $10,000 scholarship to pursue their nursing education. The scholarship is non-renewable. The scholarship is awarded annually. The application is April 5 – May 15, 2023. The recipient will be notified by June 15, 2023.
Eligibility
1. Students pursuing an RN at Good Samaritan College of Nursing, Cincinnati State, Mt. St. Joseph University, University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University, Miami University. Consideration also given to students of other accredited nursing schools in the Greater Cincinnati region. 2. Recipient must be pursuing a career in nursing or advancement in nursing practice. 3. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to TriHealth with a minimum of two years of service upon completion of education or post-award. To Apply:Click link or go to BethesdaFoundation.com
