The four-day festival returned to Cincinnati for an eventful commemoration celebrating family-focused events including a job fair, a parade, and the opportunity to support Black culture! As one of TriHealth’s key sponsorships, this event hosted over 20,000 residents across the city and our TriHealth team members showed out to help support the variety of festivities. Thank you to those volunteers who made this event so successful!

Hard Rock Cafe Job Fair

TriHealth team members from the Human Resources department took part in the job fair at the Hard Rock Casino, which kicked off the weekend on Thursday, August 18. Volunteers interacted with over 300 people to talk about all the extensive career pathways that TriHealth offers at our facilities as one of the largest employers in Cincinnati. We are continuously committed to leading the way in promoting an inclusionary experience for candidates!

Avondale Parade and Sawyer Point Festivities

Team members and their families then had the opportunity to engage with more festival attendees at the Avondale Parade on Saturday, August 20. Following the parade, Sawyer Point volunteers continued the community outreach at TriHealth booths by distributing over 400 personalized school supply goodie bags to children alongside offering free health screenings including mammograms and blood pressure testing.

Population Health and the Purpose

TriHealth had the great opportunity to serve the Cincinnati area to help reduce community health disparity at the TriHealth booth at Sawyer Point. By partnering with community organizations, we are making it easier for residents to improve their health. Our purpose is to offer a wide range of resources to support a community member’s healthcare journey, including vulnerable populations. We can’t wait to participate again in 2023!
