At the Good Samaritan Safety Huddle, the Care Management team was presented with the August Guild Award for undergoing a new process to simplify who will be covering for a patient’s transition to the next level of care at discharge. They participated in daily roundings with the hospitalist group, allowing for increased throughput of patients and the best possible post-hospital care.

Each team member in the department received a $10 gift card valid at Nurture Gift Shop and Nourish Coffee Shop in celebration of their hard work.

Each month, a Good Samaritan team or department is honored by the Good Samaritan Hospital Guild. The Guild is associated with Good Samaritan Foundation and funds special projects and programs at the hospital to benefit patients, visitors, and all who work at Good Sam.
