Recently, team member Malia Pape with Good Samaritan Hospital’s Labor and Delivery was honored through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patient Program for exemplifying both the SERVE values and TriHealth Way.

Along with the gift, the donor wrote this note of thanks:
”I had a very long labor that spread across three shifts of nurses. I could not say enough positive things about all of the nurses and doctors I interacted with during my time at Good Sam. Malia was the one who actually helped deliver my baby. As a first-time mom, I was scared and she helped answer all my questions and kept me calm throughout. When complications started after I delivered, they were quick to react and got the help needed to make sure I was okay. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Good Sam for making sure my baby and I were happy and healthy!” – Grateful Patient

The Grateful Patients and Families Program allows a patient or their family to make a donation in honor of a physician, nurse, or team member who made a difference and share a note of thanks.
