Beginning Tuesday, June 7, the Advanced Wound Healing Center at Bethesda North is moving to a new, larger location in an effort to increase wound care capabilities and improve the patient experience at Bethesda North. This move will result in the new space having four Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) chambers which are capable of seeing a broader range of patients, including those classified as bariatric patients due to weight.

These HBO chambers are new units, and represent an increase in capacity from the three HBO chambers located in the current first floor location. The delivery and set-up of these units began on June 7, and the HBO chambers will be operational for patient use in the new location beginning on Thursday, June 9. There will be no interruption in this important and advanced part of the Center’s services. On Friday, June 10, the rest of the Advanced Wound Healing Center will stop seeing patients in their current location at noon (12 p.m.), to finish the move from the first floor location to the new, ground floor space.

The new location will allow the Advanced Wound Healing Center at Bethesda North Hospital to continue the mission of providing the best healing therapies and technologies available to Wound Care outpatients in the Greater Cincinnati area.
