A Grateful Patient, Renita Brown, honored Chaplain Penny Stacy. Renita said the following, “Chaplain Penny was a saint who brought me comfort and healing prayers. I wanted to give up but thru encouragement and listening to me daily, I got to go home from the hospital and she took my calls from home to pray with me. I am blessed to be alive, so today I brought my awesome Chaplain a gift. I would not be believe if not for her care for me.”
Simple gestures of kindness often mean the most to us. The Grateful Patient program gives patients and families the opportunity to recognize a physician, nurse or team member who made a difference in someone's life with a donation in their honor and a special note of thanks. Donations made through the Grateful Patient Program help fund innovative solutions to complex health problems and make state of the art technology available to all of our patients. The Grateful Patient Program gives patients the opportunity to give back to the hospital and team members that went above and beyond their expectations.
