As we bundle up for December, we want to give you some What Counts and What Doesn’t Count for reporting Community Benefit for holiday service opportunities.

What Counts

• Volunteer work for community on TriHealth time
• Donations to community paid for by TriHealth funding
• Time spent organizing holiday volunteer work for department
• Board work for local nonprofits as a representative of TriHealth

What Doesn’t Count

• Money that individual team members spend on items they donate for community
• Volunteer work in community outside normal work hours
• Personal volunteer work for local nonprofits that is not done as a representative of TriHealth
