As we bundle up for December, we want to give you some What Counts and What Doesn’t Count for reporting Community Benefit for holiday service opportunities.
What Counts
- Volunteer work for community on TriHealth time
- Donations to community paid for by TriHealth funding
- Time spent organizing holiday volunteer work for department
- Board work for local nonprofits as a representative of TriHealth
What Doesn’t Count
- Money that individual team members spend on items they donate for community
- Volunteer work in community outside normal work hours
- Personal volunteer work for local nonprofits that is not done as a representative of TriHealth
