The Bethesda Foundation was pleased to host a reception on Monday, November 14 to kick off the community campaign for the Harold & Eugenia Thomas Heart & Vascular Center.

The Foundation has pledged $20 million in philanthropic support to this $130 million expansion and renovation project at Bethesda North. Thanks to the generous naming gift from Harold & Genie Thomas and other supportive donors, the Foundation has raised over $14m of the $20m goal.

Guests heard comments from Mark Clement, President & CEO of TriHealth; Mark Witte, the Executive Director of the TriHealth Heart & Vascular Institute; and Bob Mitchell, the Chair of the Bethesda Foundation Board of Trustees. Guests also got a behind-the-scenes look at the brand-new Cardiac Cath Labs, slated to begin serving patients in December.
