The Bethesda Foundation is pleased to present a Grateful Patient Award to one of its own -Jana Widmeyer with the Bethesda Foundation. The grateful patient said “This young lady always checks on my wife and myself any time one of us is in the hospital. Ms. Jama has become a family member forever.”

Simple gestures of kindness often mean the most to us. The Grateful Patient program gives patients and families the opportunity to recognize a physician, nurse or team member who made a difference in someone's life with a donation in their honor and a special note of thanks. Donations made through the Grateful Patient Program help fund innovative solutions to complex health problems and make state of the art technology available to all of our patients. The Grateful Patient Program gives patients the opportunity to give back to the hospital and team members that went above and beyond their expectations.
