Is my child in the right car seat? September 19-25, 2021 is National Child Passenger Safety Week.
Did you know that According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a recent study shows that 59% of car seats are not installed correctly?
It’s important for children to ride in a proper car seat based on their age and size. This information will help ensure that their car seat is correctly installed in the vehicle.
During National Child Passenger Safety Week, ThinkFirst For Your Baby (TFFYB) Child Passenger Safety (CPS) experts will be providing CPS resource packets to 14 TriHealth Pediatric practices, patients and team members to help answer questions one might have regarding your child’s car seat.
Also, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 we will have an Ask the Expert child passenger safety display set up in the Clifton lobby at GSH from 10:30am-12:30pm.
If you are interested in receiving a packet or have any questions, please email krista_jones@trihealth.com.
ThinkFirst For Your Baby is funded through a Bethesda Foundation Community Grant.
