TLC Peer Support Training sessions are open for November and December! Training is open to any TriHealth team member who is interested in being trained to provide peer support for team members who are experiencing difficulties managing stress or have been involved in a traumatic event or stressful situation. The training is 90 minutes long and will be limited to 30 participants in a virtual format via the Zoom meeting platform.

Training participants can expect to develop an understanding of the impact of secondary trauma, will learn to recognize the common stress reactions of second victims, will learn the six stages of recovery from a traumatic event, and will learn the best practice skills needed to provide a peer support intervention.

Any TriHealth team member who is interested in becoming trained as a peer supporter can register for the training regardless of their work location or their role within TriHealth.

Please consider registering for a training at the link below, and/or consider sharing the link with any TriHealth team member that you think may be interested in becoming a TLC Peer Supporter.
  • November Training Session: Wednesday, November 10, 7:30-9:00 am
  • December Training Session: Wednesday, December 8, 7:30-9:00 am

**Please register using your TriHealth email address.

It will be necessary for you to be able access the training using Zoom so you may need to install it on your laptop, tablet, or mobile device. You must be able to access video and audio during the training. Merely calling in and listening to the audio will not satisfy training requirements, so please plan accordingly.

Training participants will be a sent a link to access the training via Zoom the week prior to the training.

Hi I think this is great and I am interested in taking the training. I am curious as to how this is to be used within Trihealth? Are we expected to have counselling sessions with co workers or is it more for personal enrichment?
