TriHealth Bridge

October 13, 2021

For more than eight decades, the Ruth Lyons Children’s Fund has been taking care of children around the tri-state. Last week, WLWT covered the Good Samaritan NICU, talking about the tiniest of lives that have been touched by the gift of the Fund. Every child born in the NICU gets a hand-made quilt made by GSH volunteers and a Ruth Lyons sleep sack, and mothers receive books and a journal to document the early days of their newborn.

WLWT’s story features TriHealth team members Lindsey Jarvis, mother of Michael and Good Samaritan Foundation Specialty Foundation Officer, and Trish Lehnert, NICU Assistant Nurse Manager, along with Jessica France, whose son Alexander has been in Good Samaritan’s newborn intensive care unit for more than 100 days.
